BERSIH 2.0 – Malaysians March Together

Some Words From The Editor (@McGarmott):
I guess with the video gaining popularity, I feel like this is a chance for me to say something regarding the BERSIH 2.0 rally. And it is this — people, it is time we change our attitude. The keyword here is ENGAGEMENT. Not demonising, not accusing, not taunting, and not making fun of people who don’t agree with us — yes, even the people who continue to support UMNO and BN, even Ibrahim Ali. The way forward is to engage each other in dialogue, using civil language, using intelligent debates and arguments — that is, use reason. Democracy entails us talking to each other maturely, and accepting that people WILL have different points of view. Even if the other person argues with emotional rhetoric, your response, like your response during the BERSIH 2.0 rally, is to keep the temperature cool.

I did not attend the rally myself, but my friends did. This video has inspired many of you (thanks for watching!). Now I hope the rally can inspire us to TALK TO EACH OTHER, NOT JUST AMONG OURSELVES.
