KUALA LUMPUR – THE man who police believe acted as the late Baharuddin Ahmad in a widely-circulated online video has denied any wrongdoing.
Shuhardi Md Isa, 48, said he was at Jalan Pudu while Baharuddin was at the KLCC area during the Bersih 2.0 rally on July 9.
He said it did not make any sense for police to believe he purposely acted as Baharuddin. ‘I think everyone can differentiate between the two locations. How could the issue of me acting arise?’ he told reporters at a press conference on Saturday.
Mr Shuhardi, a businessman and Malaysian Islamic Entrepreneurs, Consultants and Directors Association (UrusKop) secretary-general, refuted allegations that he was in hiding, saying he had done nothing wrong.
